PEDIATRIC CARE

We are often asked by our patients, "Should I get my child adjusted?"

The answer is always a resounding YES.

Dr. Tolbert started adjusting his children when they were just hours old. The spine is the foundation of our bodies. Just a tree wouldn't grow straight with a compromised foundation, your babies won't grow and develop as optimally as they could if they start off with a misaligned spine, or misaligned foundation.

Here is a list of common childhood conditions shown to benefit from chiropractic care.

  • Allergies

  • Asthma

  • Attention problems

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • Bedwetting

  • Colic/fussy babies

  • Constipation

  • Developmental delays

  • Ear infections

  • Poor immune system

  • Reflux

  • Sleep issues

  • Speech delays

  • Tongue Ties

  • Torticollis

Infants

Birth trauma continues to be a severely under treated problem. Excessive force or complications during delivery can create spinal misalignments in the spinal column and compromise nervous system functioning.

Because most neurological development occurs within the first year of life, we encourage getting your baby checked ASAP!

Even if they do not have symptoms or pain, wellness spinal checks are a great way to ensure proper growth and development for your child.

Kids & Teens

"It is easier to build strong children than to fix broken adults."

From "tech neck" to sport's injuries each individual patient will have a treatment tailored specifically for their needs.

Adjustments for children are safe, gentle and effective. We use a combination of gentle spinal adjustments and nutritional/lifestyle advice to maintain optimal health for your child.

Chiropractic care for kids enhances your child's health by releasing joints that are not moving properly or to their fullest capacity, with the goal of restoring natural nervous system functioning. Since total health is more than just freely moving joints, Dr. Tolbert also addresses proper nutrition, postural health, and other principles of true wellness to help parents raise healthy children.
